Another Monday

"Ugh... Another Monday." Tired is standing there, wilted, radiating pure Monday energy. Then Happy bounces in with smiley face balloons — "Good morning! Isn't it a beautiful day?"

"Your energy should be illegal before 10 a.m." Fair point. But Happy doesn't give up. "It's a new week! A chance for new opportunities!" "Sure, I guess."

Then the move — Happy hands Tired the balloons. "Here, hopefully these cheer you up... or at least lift your spirits." And it works. Tired, holding the balloons, finally smiling: "It is a beautiful day."

Because sometimes all it takes is someone showing up with a stupid smiley balloon and refusing to let you be miserable alone.
